Maldivian fishers have donated over MVR 170,000 to aid Palestinians in need.
The largest donation of MVR 127,433 to the Palestine fund was made by the vessel named "Rasta." Additionally, two vessels from Gaaf Alif atoll Maamedhoo, "Dhuveli 6" and "Hushiyaaru," each donated MVR 25,000 to the cause.
Earlier, several fishing vessels have made significant contributions to the fund. Last week, a vessel from Gaaf Alif atoll Kanduhulhudhoo donated MVR 50,000, equivalent to two tonnes catch.

The fund, opened by the International Aid Campaign (IAC), a local NGO providing aid to Palestinians, has raised over MVR 12 million.
Across the country, various events have been organized to assist Palestinians affected by Israeli atrocities, demonstrating the collective efforts of the Maldivian community to support those in need.
