Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has warned that adverse weather conditions are expected over the next two days.
The Met Office said a developing depression east of Maldives was moving westward. Therefore, heavy rains with thundershowers are anticipated in parts of the north and central parts of the country on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Met Office has advised all parties to be vigilant of the weather.
