President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed has departed to Kingdom of Bahrain on an official visit.
The visit is being made at the request of the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
During the Presidents’ official visit will be from from 5 – 8 October, 2022, a number of memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed, as well as a number of high-level bilateral exchanges.
These events are expected to strengthen the friendly ties between the Maldives and Bahrain.
The President and First Lady are accompanied by a high-level government delegation.
