MIFCO reverses canned tuna prices to previous rates

Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has reversed its decision to increase the price of its tuna-in-oil cans.
MIFCO said it decided to revert to the previous price after taking into account the public opinion and the cost of living in the Maldives. As a result, MIFCO shops will continue to sell tuna-in-oil cans at USD 1.13 per can, and USD 49.2 per carton.
MIFCO added that it will continue to provide quality products to customers at the lowest possible price.
