President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih arrived in Laamu atoll on Friday to inaugurate the marathon organized by TfG.
The President is also set to run in the marathon to be held on Laamu Link Road.
This is his first trip to the atoll since assuming office. He was warmly welcomed by the local community upon his arrival at the Kaddhoo Airport.
During his trip, Solih will also visit Fonadhoo and Gan and meet with the local councils.
He will return to capital city Male’ on Saturday.
