BML to Transform Banking Services in Male’

Bank of Maldives (BML) is transforming its banking services in Male’ by announcing the opening of new dedicated service centres in various locations.
In line with BML’s strategic focus to provide better customer service and innovative products of the highest international standards, a new dedicated Account Opening Centre and Loan Centre is set to be opened in January 2020. All personal banking customers can open accounts and apply for loans at the new Centres.
According to a press release by BML, A new Digital Branch in Majeedhee Magu is also planned to be opened in 2020. Furthermore, this branch will provide an innovative, state-of-the-art digital banking experience to customers. With these changes, the current premises of Majeedhee Magu Branch will be closed for services from 2nd February 2020.
“We look forward to delivering improved quality of service with the opening of the new Account Opening Centre and Loan Centre. Together with our plan to introduce our Digital Branch, this transformation will truly enhance the banking experience for customers.” Commenting on the changes to the services, BML CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer stated.
BML has further revealed that the new Account Opening Centre, Loan Centre, existing Customer Service Centre and Busines Centre will cater to all non-transactional services. All branch transaction services including deposits and withdrawals in Male’ will be centralized to Main Branch.
