President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a congratulatory message to the New Prime Minister of Nepal, His Excellency Pushpa Kamal Dahal, following his victory in the recent elections.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I extend to you my sincere good wishes and congratulations on your election as the new Prime Minister of Nepal.”
“Your election reflects the confidence that the people of Nepal have in you as a leader. I am certain that under your able leadership, the people of Nepal would achieve greater success and prosperity. I look forward to working with Your Excellency to further strengthen the close and friendly relations between our two countries.”
“Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being, and the assurances of my highest consideration.
