Local Government Authority’s President Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim had been discharged from the designation after a vote of no confidence had passed through.
According to reports، apart from Nazim، Vice President Moosa Naseer had also been terminated from his post in similar fashion.
The vote of no confidence against both President and Vice President was cast by the coinciding decision of the five members from the Authority’s board. The five members include Shujau Hussain، Hussain Naseer، Hussain Hilmy، Shamaau Shareef and Ibrahim Rasheed.
While LGA’s President has been dismissed from designation، the authority is currently under the temporary helm of board member Shujau Hussain.
