Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has decided to resume operations to the Maldives. UIA had operated charter flights to the Maldives in December 2020.
The operations are to be resumed incorporation with Resort Life Holidays, a private local company that acts as a tour operator serving Russian and Ukrainian markets.
Regarding the resumption of operations of the UIA, CEO of Resort Life Mohamed Shaaz Waleed said the operations will be continued depending on the demand although chartered flights were operated during last year. Efforts are underway to operate ad hoc flights to the southern atolls of the Maldives, he added.
UIA places the safety and health of its passengers and crew at the highest levels due to the worldwide pandemic.
