Concrete anchor blocks have been donated to the Swimming Association, by the Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) under their corporate social responsibility program.
The blocks would be of assistance in the development of the swimming platforms by the Swimming Association, in the capital city and Addu city.
Swimming Association had previously revealed that the project to develop platforms in both the cities comes under the governments sports manifesto.
Works of the platform in Addu city has already begun.
