People’s Cup Champion PDRM had revealed their desire to recruit three more Maldivian players for their team.
During an interview given to Vnews, PDRM Assistant Coach Mohamed Fauzi said that he observed many great Maldivian players during the tournament, and had noted three in particular.
“There are many skilled players in Maldives and we have noticed three in particular, we will discuss with officials back home on plans to recruit them,” Fauzi said before leaving for Malaysia.
A high official of the PDRM Management, who wished to stay anonymous, has revealed that those three players are New Radiant Defender Shafiu Ahmed, Maziya Captain Assadhulla Abdulla, and Midfielder Mohamed Irufan.
But PDRM have not officially confirmed these names.
PDRM had won the People’s Cup Finals against Maziya with a score of 5-4.
