The Sri Lankan government has approved a Maldivian company called Alpha Kinam Holdings Lanka for the development of a USD 3 million hotel project.
According to Lanka Business Online, the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka had given permission for Alpha Kinam Holdings Lanka, to set up the Hotel in Sri Lanka’s Matale; and is expected to be completed within two years.
Nichila Oya Resort and Spa hotel will consist of 13 Eco-type luxury suites and 26 chalets, and will be built on 15.3 acres of land, while the surrounding land will be developed into a bird’s sanctuary.
