VTV has announced a renewed 5th season of its acclaimed “Maldivian Icon”.
The inauguration of a renewed season was made on V-Media's 6th year anniversary ceremony, which was held last night.
Preparations for the program are currently underway. And as such, auditions are expected to take place throughout Male and the atolls.
Enthusiastic will simply have to SMS the text "MI(space)(name)(age)(home island)" to the number 4888.
Similar to its predecessors, this season will also feature the grand prize of MVR 100,000.
Since is emergence in 2009, the “VTV Maldivian Icon” has been highly regarded and praised by the local audience, and is the first singing competition in Maldives which showcases MVR 100,000 as the grand prize.
