National airline Maldivian announces that they will resume flights to Chennai, India on Wednesday. The airline had suspended flights to Chennai due to the extreme bad weather the city had been experiencing.
Island Aviation said today that although flights resume on Wednesday, priority will be given for those with earlier bookings.
When Maldivian suspended flights to Chennai, a number of passengers had purchased tickets to travel to Chennai. Island Aviation is trying to send these passengers to Chennai via other airlines.
