A Maldivian, who was attacked in Sri Lanka on Tuesday, is being treated in a Colombo hospital after his condition got serious.
The victim of the attack has been identified as Nooradheen (45) of Canarymaage, Th. Vilufushi. He is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Vnews has gained knowledge that Nooradheen was attacked and mugged while in a rickshaw, on his way back to his residence. He was attacked near the American Embassy in Colombo.
He was in Sri Lanka to visit members of his family before traveling to India for his son's operation.
