New Director appointed to Dhiraagu Board

Raed Abdulla Mohamed Fakhri has been appointed as a Non-Executive / Independent Director at Dhiraagu.
Fakhri is a member of the Board of Directors at Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), the majority shareholder of Dhiraagu.
Fakhri, who holds an Executive MBA from the University of Bahrain and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida, USA, is replacing AbdulRazzaq Al Qassim, who had been on the Board of Dhiraagu since 2013.
Vice President, Investments at Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company B.S.C since March 2013, Fakhri has over 20 years of experience in business development and investment banking.
He also co-founded BDI Partners in 2010 and headed the firm as a Managing Director prior to his current role.
He headed the investment department of Capivest Investment Bank for 3 years, mainly engaged in identifying and originating potential investments.
Prior to that, Fakhri was with Batelco for 9 years lastly serving as a Senior Manager in New Business Development Unit, which is responsible for start-ups, mergers and acquisitions.
He also served 3 years with Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) as a Control Systems Engineer and Project Engineer.
