President Abdullah Yameen and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim took part in the Maldives Film Awards ceremony last night in Olympus.
Film "Ingili", directed by Ravi Farooq, was chosen as the best feature film of Maldives Film Award 2014. The award was handed to Ravi by President Yameen.
Ravi also won best actor for his role in the movie. Niuma Mohamed won the best actress award, while "Farihibe 4" won the best short film for the year. The awards were given by President Yameen.
Mohamed Abdullah won the best actor award from the sort film category for his role in "Farihibe 4", while Fathimath Azifa won the best actress award for the same film.
Coco Hassan Haleem won the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Ilsha Maldives Film Award 2014. The award was handed over by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim.
