Maldivian to expand services to Europe and the Middle East

Maldivian announces that they will expand their flights to include destinations in Europe and the Middle East, in the near future.
Managing Director of the national airline, Abdul Haris said that the company had initiated relevant discussions at the ongoing ITB Fair as well.
Haris said that the airline already travels to six destinations in China and two destinations in India and Bangladesh. He said that the company’s next target is Europe and the Middle East.
“In 2014 we operated full flights between Almaty in Kazakhstan and Male’. This proves that we can do this”, Haris said.
He added that the target of Maldivian Holidays is to attract as many tourists to Maldives as possible.
“Three new agreements have been signed during the ITB Fair. These include a newly established resort in Maldives, a resort that is already in operation and a diving group. We are trying to broaden the focus and attract tourists to Maldives”, Haris explained.
