The missing Maldivian man who went on Umra has been found.
He was found safely by some security guards at the holy grounds.
This comes a day after he was announced missing by the Maldives Hajj Corporation, which had launched an extensive search party - with the help of relevant authorities - to locate him.
75-year old Ali Mohamed (of Haa Alif Baarashu) went on Umra as a consultant to the state-owned Hajj Corporation. He was said to be missing after the Friday afternoon prayers.
It was also revealed that he did not take is ID card or phone with him when he attended the Friday prayers.
Though his whereabouts became unknown since Friday, his disappearance was known on Sunday, when the group was about the head to Medina.
A total of 311 people had departed for Umra pilgrimage under the Corporation’s sponsorship.
They are scheduled to return to Malé on July 18th and 19th.
