Maldivian hajj pilgrims to return starting Friday

Maldivian Hajj Mission has revealed that Maldivian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, who attended the pilgrimage this year will depart for the Maldives on Friday.
Speaking to Vnews, leader of the Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Izzudheen Adnaan revealed that Sisilfaru Hajj and Umrah group pilgrims will depart back for the Maldives on October 10th.
Pilgrims from Mina Hajj and Umrah Group along with Fat'h Hajj and Umrah Group will return on the 12th of October, while pilgrims from Acro Hajj Group will return on the 13th.
Pilgrims from Hajj Corporation are set to return on the 14th, 15th and 16th of the month.
Izzudheen noted that the Saudi government had made great arrangements for the pilgrims this year and added that the health of all pilgrims are good except for one.
Maldives had received a quota of 1,000 pilgrims this year. 500 of these were used by state-run Hajj Corporation, while the remainder was distributed evenly among private companies.
