A Maldivian man and his three-year-old daughter have died in an accident in Sri Lanka.
His family informed that 29-year-old Hassan Ali of Kulhudhuffushi (Babooge) and his child died while driving a pickup truck on Sunday. His wife and younger child, who were with them, survived.
Ali moved to Sri Lanka Lanka two years ago and was employed as a vehicle driver, the family said.
A family member told Vnews that the family is finding it difficult to communicate with the wife over the phone and are preparing to travel to Sri Lanka.
