A Maldivian citizen has been found dead in India late Sunday night.
According to consul Ali Adam who works at the Maldivian consulate in Trivandrum, a 30-year-old Maldivian male was rushed to the hospital at around 11pm on Sunday night.
He was taken to the hospital after the people who were with him tried to “wake him up”, but failed to get a response, Adam said.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to the consul, the hospital will perform an autopsy to find out the cause of death.
No further details regarding the man, or his previous health condition were revealed.
