National airliner Maldivian arranges special flights to Bangkok for the price of USD 355, to coincide with the school holidays.
An official told Vnews that one Malé-to-Bangkok flight each is scheduled on the 14th and 21st of this month, while return flights are scheduled on the 14th, 21st and 26th of this month.
A 152-seater A320 aircraft will be used on the flight on December 14, while a 200-seater A321 aircraft will be used for the flight on December 21.
Tickets sales have already begun, while the flights are made exclusive to those who wish to travel to Bangkok.
The official also said that the school holiday is the most convenient time to set the ticket price to USD 355, as a passenger would usually spend over USD 500 for the trip to Bangkok via other airline companies.
Maldivian - on previous occasions - had arranged special flights in line with school holidays and government holidays.
