Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has announced that they would finish renovation work on the Maafannu Bisburu and unveil it on Republic Day.
Housing Ministry says that they are working at a rapid pace to finish the work on the ‘Muiveyodhoshu Maizaan’ being built on the Bisburu, and that work is expected to finish by the deadline.
The Republic Monument is to be placed in the ‘Muiveyodhoshu Maizaan’ on its completion. A children's park is also planned to be built with more trees being planted in the area to make it greener.
Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu inspected the work progress on the ‘Muiveyodhoshu Maizaan’ yesterday.
The renovation work was handed over to State Electric Company (STELCO) on 26th August.
