Maldivian to add new plane to their fleet

Maldivian, the national airline operated by Island Aviation, has decided to add a new plane to their existing fleet of 17 planes.
Managing Director of Island Aviation, Abdul Haris, told Vnews that the new 50-seater Dash-8 aircraft will be brought in October.
Noting that loans taken by the company to purchase planes have been repaid, he said that additional planes will be purchased in the days ahead.
Haris revealed that the company’s improving financial situation has made it possible to add planes to their fleet and expand their operations.
Maldivian's fleet currently consists of eight Dash-8 planes, two Airbus planes and seven seaplanes.
