Island Aviation has revealed that Maldivian will start traveling to three more destinations in China, starting February 15th.
Starting February 15th, passengers of Maldivian flights will be able to travel to Xi’An, Shenyang and Tianjin. Prior to this Maldivian flights were only available for Wuhan and Shanghai.
Maldivian Head of Administration, Nashaath Ali said that the three new destinations to China is exclusive for tourism. The aim of Maldivian is to increase travelers from China to Maldives, and the new flights would have the capacity for at least 1,000 Chinese passengers a week.
Since the new flights are exclusively aimed for tourism, Nasheed said, the schedule is also designed with tourists in mind. Since tourists from China usually visit Maldives during their five-day vacation, the flight will also travel by a five-day schedule.
From February onwards, the Maldivian airline flights will travel to and from the five regions of China five days a week.
