Maldivian has introduced special ticket sales for coming Friday, where anyone who wishes to purchase tickets to Maldives from Lanka would be able to get them at a special price of $60.
Speaking with Vnews, Island Aviation head of Administration Nashaath Ali said that they are currently selling one way tickets from Lanka to Maldives for the flight on coming Friday. He added that these flights are return flights held after the charter flights from Addu to Lanka.
He revealed that the purpose of the flights was to provide a cheap and reliable means for students and Maldivians in Lanka to come back to Maldives.
The Maldivian flight carrying 200 passengers is scheduled to land in Maldives on Friday around 14:30.
