The 7th National Film Awards ceremony -- organized by the youth ministry’s National Centre for the Arts (NCA) -- is scheduled to be held in December.
According to a notice issued by NCA, the opportunity for film submissions will open starting from October 23 until 2:30 a.m., November 3. The submission form can be obtained from the NCA counters and website.
NCA added that only movies released between the year 2011 and 2013 are eligible for the awards.
The National Film Awards is an event held to acknowledge the Maldivian film industry, its products as well as the people contributing to the industry. It also helps in developing and maintaining a competitive environment where they can make room for improvement.
