Four Maldivian teams have traveled to Thailand to partake in the fourth Asian Beach Games.
The four Maldivian teams are the Maldives Volleyball team, Jujutsu team, Basketball team and Marathon Swimmers team.
The Olympic Committee stated that in the Beach Games which will be taking place from the 14th till the 23rd of November at Phuket beach, Maldivians will be representing a total of five sports which is Volleyball, Jujutsu, Basketball, Marathon Swimming and Bodybuilding.
While all four teams have already traveled to their destination, the Maldives Bodybuilding team is yet to travel on the 17th of November.
The Chef De Mission for the Maldives contingent is Mr. Ali Ashraf who is a member of the Volleyball Commission.
