President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have concluded their official visit to Mauritius and departed from Sir Seewoosagur International Airport on Monday evening.
During the visit, President Solih met with the Acting President of Mauritius, His Excellency Paramasivum Pillay Barlen Vyapoory, as well as with the Prime Minister, His Excellency Pravind Jugnauth, to discuss approaches to progress our bilateral relations and increase cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
The President and First Lady also actively attended the ongoing 10th iteration of the Indian Ocean Island Games which are being held this year in the city of Port Louis, Mauritius. In addition to attending the opening ceremony as honoured guests, the President and First Lady attended several of the sporting events held as part of the games and enthusiastically cheered on our athletes.
