Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, H.E Ms. Dunya Maumoon has sent a message of felicitation ‎to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam on the occasion of the country’s 50th National Day.‎
The Minister’s message reads as follows:
I wish to congratulate Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Singapore on the historic occasion of the commemoration of your 50th National Day. Indeed the Singaporean people have shown to the world that great achievements can be made through hard work and determination.
Over the years, we have shared a warm and friendly relationship. I am pleased to note that our continuous commitment to work closely for mutual benefit has upheld our bilateral ties. I look forward to further strengthening of our ties.
On this auspicious occasion, I wish to convey my heartfelt best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and success, and continued peace, progress and prosperity for the people of Singapore.
