President of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla has said that that there was not an ounce of justice in the trial of former President, Mohamed Nasheed. He also said that the trial of former Defense Minister, Mohamed Nazim is seeing the same fate.
Sheikh Imran made this remark during the rally held last night against “oppression”. He said that Nasheed’s trial concluded so fast lacking justice and fairness.
In addition to this, Sheikh Imran said that the opposition is not working to overthrow the current government.
He denied claims of the coalition being one made to come to power. He however noted that President Abdulla Yameen should begin talks with the opposition.
The Adhaalath Party President also stated that the tyranny of the government had rose to a concerning level. He also said that the opposition had come out against the brutality with great courage.
