Youth Minister Mohamed Maleeh Jamal has called the youth to be policy makers and also those who implement those policies.
Maleeh made this remark speaking at the special ceremony held at Dharubaaruge on the occasion of this year’s National Youth Day.
Maleeh said that it is said that the youth are the future of the nation however up until now there is not much that has been done to build this future.
He said that many a times the youth are overlooked and not given the necessary importance that they should be given.
The Minister said that every individual should take their part in building the nation or else the nation will face many problems. He said that the future will be very bleak of the youth do not participate in nation building.
