A hearing for Humaam’s death sentence appeal case has been scheduled for tomorrow at the Supreme Court.
The death sentence case was appealed to the Supreme Court by the state to make sure that the sentence is valid. In the last hearing of this case Humaam highlighted several points to evade from the death sentence.  Humaam’s lawyer said that Humaam confessed to the crime without fully knowing the implication of the crime he committed.
Haseen also said that، the court refused to let Humaam withdraw his statement and submit witnesses again. Haseen also said that there is chance that Police might have planted Dr.Afrasheem’s DNA on Humaam’s clothing. Tomorrow’s hearing is scheduled at 11:00 am and the state will answer the points made by Humaam tomorrow.
