President Yameen has lost all his “pillars” of “support”: Umar

Former Home Minister Umar Naseer have said that President Yameen has lost all “pillars” of “support”.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Umar said that President Maumoon the last person who was defending President Yameen has also left him. He said that President Yameen does not have any political support. “Parliament members are with President Yameen, but those who voted for these members are not with him” said Umar.
Umar said that he will contest in PPM primaries and win against President Yameen. He said that he is sure that he will win.
After resigning from his post, Umar occasionally tweets, criticizing this government. Umar said that the current government is the most corrupt government Maldives have ever seen and that it is evident from the report by Al Jazeera as well.
PPM’s presidential primary will be held in 2018. Even in 2013 Umar contest against President Yameen, but he lost.
After President Yameen won the Presidential election he appointed Umar as the Home Minister. Previously Umar said that he resigned over some disputes with the President.
