BML records profit-after-tax improvement in Q1-2022

Bank of Maldives (BML) has reported increased financial performance for the first quarter of 2022.
According to the bank, it had retained MVR554 million as profit after tax which was an 18% increment from the preceding quarter, and a 55% increment from the corresponding quarter.
Furthermore, the bank observed an increment of operational profit which reached MVR612 million in Q1-2022, which was a 10% bump from the preceding quarter.
Operating profits had also observed a 14% increment when compared with the same quarter in 2021.
