Voting is under way in all islands in the Dhiggaru constituency, in the Parliamentary By-election for Dhiggaru.
The voting began at 8:00 a.m.
A total of 2,555 people have registered to vote in this By-election.
This includes 823 voters in Dhiggaru, 303 in Maduvvari, 112 in Raiymandhoo, 170 in Veyvah, 574 in Muli, and 573 in Malé.
Voting in Malé will be held at Iskandar School.
