Yanmar Service Campaign kicks off at Gaaf Alif atoll

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company teams up Yanmar Asia for ‘Yanmar Service Campaign’ at Gaaf Alif atoll.
The campaign commenced on Thursday, 21 November and will last for a duration of three days.
The organizers expect the campaign will assist in developing stronger rapport between the suppliers and customers.
In addition to this, the service campaign aims to provide technical awareness to the local customer base regarding Yanmar products.
The service campaign will see a team of experts from the sales, marketing and technical departments of Yanmar Asia Singapore Corporation collaborating with MTCC staffs.
The team will be active at Gaaf Alif atoll Gemanafushi and Dhaandhoo for the campaign duration.
The team of experts are expected to pay visits to local vessels that have engines of the said brand installed.
The aim of the team’s visits being to conduct surveys and in return provide any necessary technical support or information to the vessel owners and operators.
Customers will be provided with information on the importance of using genuine spare parts of Yanmar in their engines instead of third-party accessories.
In addition to this, customers will be provided with instruction on how to prepare prior to a full-engine overhaul.
Moreover, MTCC reports the customers will be gifted with a branded Yanmar maintenance kit through the campaign.
MTCC further reports the participants of the survey will have access to purchase spare parts at sliced prices for the duration of the campaign.
