Defence presents witnesses in Bobby murder case

The State has charged three underage suspects with murder in the first degree, while all three children deny these charges. All Juvenile court cases are held in confidentiality. Juvenile court official revealed that a total of six witnesses, two witnesses were presented on behalf of each of the three accused children. The statements were taken with their identities kept secret. The court official detailed that the accused children had presented many witnesses, however the court will decide on how many witnesses to be heard in court. Official said that another hearing would be fixed to take more statements from the defence, while adding that the next hearing on the case has been scheduled to a day within this month. Previously all statements had been taken from the witnesses presented by the State. The statements were taken with their identities kept secret as well. However, as of the nature of the case, the court did not reveal any details of these statements. Court official stated that all three children are still in police custody and that the court had issued an order to keep them in police custody till the end of the trial. The State had also sent the case of these three men involved in Muheeth’s murder to the Criminal Court. Only one witness has testified so far in the case of the three men.
