The appeal hearings of Ahmed Nihan the former judge of Adh.Maamigili court who was jailed for forging a court verdict ordering to arrest President Yameen has ended.
The state charged him on four counts. He was charged with abusing his position, doing something inappropriate while executing his duty, forgery and taking part in an act of terrorism.
So far only the trial of terrorism charges was conducted. He was convicted of the charges and was jailed for 17 years in 2016.
The appeal hearing of that case has ended at high court today.
