First Lady and Chief Guide Sajidha Mohamed participated in the “Eid Project”, an initiative led by the Young Leaders of the Maldives Girl Guides Association.
The Maldives Girl Guides Association has organised this annual initiative since 2000 on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, sharing the festive spirit and distributing gifts to residents of the Home for People with Special Needs (HPSN) in K. Guraidhoo.
During the visit, the First Lady met with residents, joined them in the Eid celebrations, presented gifts, and enquired about their well-being.
This year marks the 27th consecutive year of the initiative, which continues to promote compassion and community engagement through annual visits to the Home for People with Special Needs (HPSN).
