An additional cruiseliner has arrived in the Maldives with almost 2,000 tourists.
‘AIDAdiva’ arrived in the Maldives from Sri Lanka’s Colombo port. Maldives Association for Yacht Agents said the cruiseliner will remain in the Maldives for two days.
The cruise liner 'AIDAdiva', measuring 251 meters in length and 37 meters in width, was carrying 1,918 passengers and 630 crew members.

A cruiseliner from the operator first to bring a cruiseliner to the Maldives docked in Male’ with over 2,600 tourists on Saturday. That vessel departed on the same day, at 18:00pm.
With the start of the cruise liner season, local agents in charge of attracting these ships have raised serious concerns about the insufficient facilities and infrastructure to properly serve disembarking tourists.
