Police are investigating a drug-related case involving a female nurse employed at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), the largest hospital in the Maldives.
The case was reported to the police by IGMH, police said.
However, the authorities have not released additional details about the incident.
No arrests have been made in connection with the investigation.
