Applications are now open for the Maldives MSME Awards 2025 for small and medium enterprises.
The awards, introduced in November last year by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, aim to recognise and encourage the achievements of micro, small and medium enterprises operating in the Maldives.
The award is presented annually by BCC to recognise outstanding achievements in the business sector. Applications can be submitted in 13 categories chosen by judges and 11 categories determined by the public. The policy governing the awards has been published in the Government Gazette.
Application forms are available through the BCC’s dedicated online portal at https://msme.bcc.mv. The deadline for submission is 23:59 on 2 October.
The BCC said the awards will celebrate the efforts of small businesses while also creating opportunities to expand into new markets. The corporation encouraged broad participation to celebrate the innovation, skills and progress of Maldivian entrepreneurs and enterprises.
