A fifteen year old teenage girl has committed suicide in Fuvahmulak.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) media official has confirmed the incident، and said that a girl، under the age of 18، has committed suicide، and the matter was reported to the authority around 20:55 tonight.
Reports say the girl committed suicide inside her room، using the ceiling fan. Her home، “Vienna”، is located in the “Dhoodigam” district of Fuvahmulak. She was reportedly found when the family members went inside the room as they heard no news from her for sometime.
Further reports say the girl، studying at grade 10، committed suicide due to a love affair.
