Tourism Minister Ahmed Adeeb has stated that although scientists say that Maldives will disappear due to the climate change، Maldivians are not ready to drown، instead Maldivians will be survival heroes.

“Scientists have always stated our nation [Maldives] will disappear in the ocean. However، Maldivian citizens and as well the incumbent are not willing to accept defeat. We will arise from the setback.” Adeeb made the statement echoeing almost every citizen’s voice.
