Bank of Maldives (BML) Islamic has revealed the 10 winners of its Hajj promotion, held as part of the bank’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Each winner will receive a fully paid Hajj package.
The promotion ran from 23 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and was open to Maldivians who met at least one of the eligibility criteria during the period. Qualifying customers included those with an active BML Islamic financing facility (new or existing), those who had their salary credited to a BML Islamic account for a minimum of three consecutive months, those who opened a General Investment Account with BML Islamic, or those holding an active BML Islamic credit card.
All eligible customers were automatically entered into the grand lucky draw. The winners were selected through a transparent process, and the bank will cover the full cost of a Hajj trip for each, with payments made directly to the Maldives Hajj Corporation.
BML Islamic noted that it will not be able to arrange a specific Hajj date or guarantee a particular slot, as allocation remains subject to the procedures and quotas managed by the Hajj Corporation.
The bank congratulated the winners and thanked all participants for their support throughout the anniversary promotion.
