PPM Spokesperson and Kelaa Constituency MP Ali Arif has announced that the first shipment of bridge building items will arrive on the 25th of this month.
Speaking to press in PPM headquarters, Ali Arif said this was the latest update on the bridge project.
Arif said that this year will see many initiatives brought forward for the public and added that the opposition will have no other option but to welcome the initiatives.
He noted that the airport project agreement, which was recently signed by Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer on his trip to China, was valued at US$ 373 million. This project, he said, was valued at US$ 200. Therefore, he added that these two major projects were a combined value of US$ 573 million.
“This is a first in the nation’s history. This shows the level of trust placed by foreign nations for President Yameen,” he said.
