Maldives Police Service has arrested a minor and two youths over the offense of vandalizing Hotel Memorial and passing death threats at the waiters inside the cafeteria.
According to Police the individuals include two youths aged 25 years and 19 years and a 15 year old minor، who had been arrested around 00:33hrs last night while they had been inside the cafeteria.
All 3 individuals possess a track record of previous offenses، while the 25 year old individual had been questioned by authorities over 111 times، and taken into custody 10 times with an arrest count of 4. Additionally، two cases attached to the individual had been investigated and presented to Prosecutor General’s office for pressing charges.
The 19 year individual in the lot had been questioned by authorities 76 times، taken into custody 3 times while he had been arrested once and the 15 year old minor has a track record of authorities questioning him 117 times while he was taken into police custody twice.
Both 25 year old and 19 year old males have previous counts of assault charges pressed against them.
Maldives Police Service is currently investigating the case.
