The youth injured in the Addu City Hithadhoo accident has been brought to Malé for extra medical treatment.
The accident occurred yesterday morning at the main road of Hithadhoo، injuring Ali Sadim، 23، of Nadira Manzil، Hithadhoo.
Although Muqil Rasheed، the one riding the bike، walked off with minor injuries، Sadim reportedly hit is face and head first on the ground when the motobike lost control after hitting a police barricade on the road.
Police media official said the accident occurred near City Central Shop at around 10:11 on Monday morning.
Sadim was brought to Malé yesterday evening. Reports say his condition was serious with a serious head injury and internal bleeding.
